BLACKBERRY OUTAGE RESTORED

Millions of BlackBerry users now breathe a sigh of relief as Research in Motion (RIM) confirmed today that all glitches that stalled many services yesterday are taken care of. BlackBerry users lost their internet and messaging services due to unexplained “technical issue” that had cut off the services across the four continents
of Europe, the Middle East, Africa
and Asia (India).
A total wash out on the BlackBerry Messenger service — a free popular instant-messaging service, and a
freeze on the email and internet browser services yeaterday, left many users venting their anger online. Across the affected regions, BlackBerry Internet access was reported to be irregular. Twitter reported complaints from every section of Blackberry users, ranging from corporate sector to the youth fuming over the glitches. While RIM gave few details apart from a brief statement informing customers that there were "issues", it later addressed customers that the issue will take two hours to be resolved. However, the services finally came out of the blackout mode only this morning in India, where RIM updated its customers of restoring all services, and regretting inconvenience caused.
